Amsterdam Dog Training

Looking for dog training in Amsterdam? Amsterdam Dog Training is part of Canine Trade Group, a long-running network of certified in-home dog trainers.

You may be surprised to learn anyone can call themselves a dog trainer, whether they’ve spent years seeking education and practicing their skills or woke up one morning and decided it would be a fun career. If you’re considering a dog trainer, ask to see certification. Look into the organization that gave them that certification, and make sure they’re reputable.

It’s a small step that can save you a lot of grief.

Rest assured, the trainers at Amsterdam Dog Training have completed the coursework and practical hours required by the Canine Trade Group School for Dog Training, a company with a rich, successful history and exceptionally skilled founder.

Why in-home dog training?

In-home dog training is by far the most effective form. It gives your dog the greatest chance of success by allowing for owner involvement and training program customization.

Group training classes can work well for basic obedience training, but for more severe behaviors (or very young dogs that may not have their complete vaccinations), in-home training is the safest and most effective option. After all, you can’t take an aggressive dog into a room full of other dogs and people.

Another popular training method is sending your dog to a training facility for a few weeks. This can be effective and is certainly better than no training at all, but it takes away a vital component of the training equation: you.

Board and Train vs. In-Home Training

Board and Train vs. In-Home Training

Make Dog Training Fun with By the Bay Dog Training!

Make Dog Training Fun with By the Bay Dog Training!

Do you find yourself losing patience with hours of verbal commands? Not everyone thinks of repetition as fun, and that’s what dog training is — lots of patience, repeating the same words in the same way, and enforcement of the same routines and rules. But at the end...

Are you ready to learn alongside your dog with a trainer committed to training your dog to your satisfaction?

The first step to getting your pup on the road to success is for a trainer to meet with you and your dog. We’ll schedule an in-home consultation to discuss your goals, observe your dog, and outline a training protocol. From there, we’ll design a program to achieve your goals that fit your family and lifestyle.

The in-home consultation does not require any commitment from you. It’s our chance to impress you, and if you like what we have to say, we’ll begin the training program. Unlike some dog trainers, who charge hourly or per session, our trainers charge a single flat fee that encompasses all the training goals discussed during your consultation.

As commitment-based dog trainers, we’re here for you until those goals are met, whether it takes a week, a month, or a year.

Contact Amsterdam Dog Training at 800.649.7297 or send us an e-mail through the contact form to learn more about our services and schedule an in-home consultation.
